| Scottish Storytelling Centre |
Established in 1996, the George MacKay Brown Scottish Storytelling Centre is a resource for all those interested in fostering their own storytelling skills or organising storytelling events. Regular activities programmed through the Centre include the Scottish International Storytelling Festival, Traditions & Skills training workshops, local storytelling clubs and storyteller visits. A programme of workshops is arranged throughout the year. The Centre is managed by the Scottish Storytelling Forum.
The Scottish Storytelling Centre particularly recognises and encourages the role of community storytellers.
