British Association for Early Childhood Education - voluntary organisation concerned with all aspects of children's learning from birth through the early stages of primary education. http://www.early-education.org.uk
Childcare Link  - gives national and local childcare information, including nurseries, child minders, pre-schools, playgroups, day nurseries, crèches, out of school and after school clubs. http://www.childcarelink.gov.uk

National Association of the Education of Young Children - American site, but has some useful resources to download for parents and teachers. http://www.naeyc.org/resources
NatureGrid - Kent County Council's nature pages, some of which are suitable for early years. http://www.naturegrid.org.uk
Qualifications and Curriculum Authority -these pages look at education for pre-5's, but whole site covers curriculum, assessment and qualifications across the whole of education and training (England and Wales) http://www.qca.org.uk/early-years

Three to Five Years - managed by two Nursery Scool teachers.  The site is being developed to build up resources, links and teaching materials for practitioners.  http:www.threetofiveyears.co.uk
